Message Description
FLASH SIMMS CONT AI NINVALID DAT A Flash SIMMshave become corrupted probably froma communication error during a system
update. Retrythe systemexecutive update utility. Ifthe situation persists, contact
Allen--Bradleysupport.
FLASH SIMMS U10 AND U14 ARE EMPTY OR
MISSING
Make sure your flash SIMMs are installed in the correct tracks. Refer to the 9/Series integration
and maintenance manual sectioncovering yourprocessorfordetailson flash installati on.
Removeand reseatflashSIMMs.
FLASH SIMM U10 ISEMPTY OR MISSING Makesure yourflashSIMMs are installed in thecorrect tracks. If theyappear to be installed
correctly, removeand reseatSIMMs. Ifproblempersists, contactAllen--Bradley supportservice.
FLASH SIMM U14 ISEMPTY OR MISSING Makesure yourflashSIMMs are installed in thecorrect tracks. If theyappear to be in stalled
correctly, removeand reseatSIMMs. Ifproblempersists, contactAllen--Bradley supportservice.
FLASH WRITE ERROR Aproblem occurredwhile writingtoflash, forexamplebad flash,no flash,or no voltage.
FOREGROUND O VERLAP The foreground tasks did not complete executionwithinthe 20-millisecondperiodallocated.
Foregroundtasksinclude PAL foreground,axisinterpolation,servoi nterface,and I/O ring
scanning. Correctby reducingPAL foregroundprogram sizeor removing somedevicesfrom
the I/O ring.
G
G10 NOT ALLOW ED DURING CYCLE G10 code is not allowed to be used during the cycle. Cancel the fixed cycle.
G24NOTALLOWED G24 is notal l owed when any automaticG coded cycle is active (such as G81).
G24 PLANE INCOMPA TIBILITY The hard stopaxis maynot be in theactivepartrotation plane.
G25NOTALLOWED G25 is notal l owed when any automaticG coded cycle is active (such as G81).
G25 PLANE INCOMPA TIBILITY The adaptivefeed axismaynot be in theactivepartrotation plane.
G26NOTALLOWED G26 (adaptivedepth probe)can not be programmed when anothermodal group isactive(such
asaG81fixedcycle).
G26 PLANE INCOMPA TIBILITY Aconflictbetween a plane dependentfeature and a G26 (depth probe). For exampleifpart
rotation is activeand a G 26 is programmedon an axis in thepartrotation plane thiserroris
generated. Referto the9/Seriesusers manualsection on G 26 for detailson incompatible
planarfeatures.
G28 BLOCK DOESNOT PRECEDEG29 BLOCK A G29 block wasprogrammedbeforeaG28 block. During 7300 tapecompatibilitymode,the
firstautomaticthreadingblockmustcontain a G28 code;the nextblock mustcontainaG29
code.
G29 BLOCK DOESNOT FOLLO W G28 BLOCK A G28 block wasprogrammedwithoutafollowingG29 block. During7300tapecompatibility
mode, the first automaticthreading blockmustcontain a G 28 code; thenext blockmust contain
a G29 code.
G40 NOT ALLOW ED IN CIRCULAR An exitmove fromcutter compensationor TTRC was attemptedin a circularblock(G02 or G03).
Anexitmove(programmedwith a G40) mustgeneratea linear move.
G53 NOT ALLOW ED IN G91 MODE An attemptwas madetomake an incrementalmove in themachine (absolute)coordinate
system. Only absolute moves (G90) are permitted in the machine coordinate system.
G53 NOT ALLOWEDININCREMENTALMODE AG53 moveto absoluteposition wasrequested while in incrementalmode.
G53 ON AN UNHOMED AXES An attempt to program a move in the machine (absolute) coordinate system was made before
theaxis was homed. Itis necessaryto hometheaxes toestablishthelocationofthe machine
coordinate system.
G91MODENOT ALLOWED INQPP Since QuickPath Plus is generallyusedto programblocks withoutknowing theintersection of
the blocks, itis impossible to calculate a location for theend-pointof the block when the moveis
incremental. QuickPathPlus mustbe programmed i n absolute mode(G90).
(G-CODE) TABLEERROR There has been an internalsoftwarefaultrelativetothe G-codetable. ConsultAllen-Bradley
Customer SupportServi ces.
(GOTO)SEQ.NUMBERNOT FO UND T he sequence number(Nword) called byaGOTO command doesnot existin the currently
executing program.
