For the calculator function, 2147483647 (10 characters long) is the largest

number that you can enter on the input line.

Ifyou see the error message: The numberentered or calculatedis:

“NUMBER IS OUT OF RANGE” too large(longerthan 10 characters)

“MATH OVERFLOW” greaterthan 2147483647

Fractional numbers cannot exceed .999999 (6 decimal places). If the

number of decimal places is exceeded, the control automatically rounds off

based on the seventh digit.

Ifthe seven th digitis: The control:

lessthan 5 roundsdown

5 orgreater roundsup

Any data entered on the i nput lines can be edited as described on page 2-41.

To disable the calculator function, press the

[CALC] key again. The CALC:

prompt is removed from the input line.

Use the characters in Table 2.E to indicate mathematic operations.

This is the order of execution for each of the above operations:

1. Any part of the expression that is between the brackets [ ] is

evaluated first. The values of paramacro variables are also

substituted for the #xxxx as the first operation performed.

2. Multiplication and division are evaluat ed second.

3. Addition and subtraction are evaluated last.
