Create DeviceNet Network Software Files Chapter 3

4. Record the following information

about the 1769-SDN scanner

module:

• Slot number in the

CompactBus = 1

• DeviceNet network node number = 1

5. Click OK.

6. Click OK when the alert about

uploading or downloading device

information.

RSNetWorx for DeviceNet

software browses the network and

shows the scanner module at

DeviceNet network node number

1 and the 1734-ADN adapter at

node number 2.

TIP

Once the software browses

the DeviceNet network to

recognize the two nodes

installed while completing

the tasks described in this

quick start, you can click

Cancel and the browse

function ends.
