Creating a Sample Application

Data Entry (Screen 21)

1. Press the [F8] function key to start a new screen.

The screen prompts you for a new screen number.

2. Type 21 and press [Return].

The screen clears the previous screen and displays a list of screen types.

3. Highlight Data Entry Screen and press [Return].

4. Enter the following data for Data Entry Screen 21:

Type Enter Desired Temp and press [Return]

Type Actual: (5 spaces) Deg. C and press [Return]

Type Valid Range:140–170 and press [Return]

Type Desired: (4 spaces) and press [Return]

The screen should look like this.

Note: You will now enter 2 data registers for this screen.
